Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Lucknow – Transfer to Nepalgunj
📍 Route: Lucknow → Nepalgunj (200 km / 4-hour drive)
🛏️ Accommodation: Soaltee Westend Premier or Similar (5-Star)
🍽 Meals: Dinner Included
- Pick-up from Lucknow Airport (arrival before 2 PM recommended).
- Transfer to Nepalgunj, followed by evening trip briefing.
- Overnight stay in a luxury hotel.
Day 2: Fly from Nepalgunj to Simikot
📍 Route: Nepalgunj → Simikot (1-hour flight)
🛏️ Accommodation: Local Guest House
🍽 Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included
- Morning flight to Simikot (2971 m), a beautiful mountain town.
- Acclimatization walk and local sightseeing.
- Overnight stay for altitude adjustment.
Day 3: Simikot – Hilsa – Taklakot (Purang)
📍 Route: Simikot → Hilsa (20 min heli) → Taklakot (30 min drive)
🛏️ Accommodation: Local Guest House

- Helicopter ride to Hilsa, scenic views en route.
- Cross Karnali river and enter Tibet side after immigration.
- Drive to Taklakot (3880 m) and check-in for rest.
Day 4: Acclimatization Day at Taklakot

- Full day for rest and high-altitude adjustment.

Day 5: Drive to Lake Mansarovar
📍 Route: Taklakot → Mansarovar (70 km / 1.5 hrs)

- Scenic drive to the holy Lake Mansarovar (4650 m).

- Perform Puja/Havan at Mansarovar shore.

Day 7: Trek to Zuthulpuk via Dolma La Pass (5600 m)
📍 Route: Derapuk → Dolma La Pass → Zuthulpuk (22 km trek)

- Tough but rewarding trek via Dolma La Pass (highest point).
- Visit Gauri Kund, Nandi Parvat, and enjoy spiritual vibes.
- Reach Zuthulpuk (4800 m) by afternoon.
Day 8: Zuthulpuk to Darchen – Hilsa/Simikot
📍 Route: Zuthulpuk → Darchen (8 km trek) → Hilsa or Simikot
🛏️ Accommodation: Local Guest House
🍽 Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included
- Final 3-hour trek to Darchen.
- After lunch, drive to Tibet border and walk to Hilsa.
- Fly to Simikot if possible (weather dependent), else overnight in Hilsa.
Day 9: Return to Lucknow via Simikot & Nepalgunj
📍 Route: Hilsa → Simikot → Nepalgunj → Lucknow

- Fly to Simikot (if not done previous day), then Nepalgunj.
- Transfer to Lucknow Airport (reach 2 hrs before flight).
- End of the divine Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.

Important Notes
- Altitude sickness prevention is vital; stay hydrated, bring Diamox, consult your physician.
- Warm clothing, snow boots, torch, dry snacks, and strong water bottles are highly recommended.
- Carry Voter ID for Nepal, and Passport for Tibet portion.
- Weather in Simikot/Hilsa may cause delays – be mentally prepared.
